The Project Manager, Regional IT is responsible for overseas hubs (Singapore and Hong Kong) based project planning and implementation related issues.Work location is in MBFC, 100% WIO, onsite Interview process.Regional IT Project Manager (Banking) - perm in SG
- Drive the execution of project management standards, own the progress, cost and quality of the project and ensure end-to-end delivery of project on budget, on schedule and with high quality
- Project Management – Define the project plan and deliverables; manage scope, cost, quality, risk and issues of the project; manage budget, forecast and related financial reporting of the project; raise resource demand and ensure timely onboarding of team; track project milestones and review deliverables to ensure on-time and high quality-delivery; manage change requests; perform regular project reporting; ensure transition into operations to comply with business requirements, regulations, internal control, standards, and is operable
- Stakeholder Management – Prepare project status report and communicate to related project stakeholders; manage vendors to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
- People – Manage people assigned to project and provide coaching to them on a daily basis; motivate and influence them
- Functional – Write and synthesize business requirement/functional design across multiple projects or scope of work
- Process – Check completeness of functional design compared with business requirements. Create requirement traceability matrices. Work with business to write test cases corresponding to requirements. Create test coverage matrices.
- Test Management— Develop test strategy, test plan and oversee test execution covering SIT and UAT and including non-functional testing such as performance/load/ stress testing, HA and DR testing, security vulnerability assessment, etc. where appropriate. Perform test reporting including MIS and analytics.
- Risks – Conduct operational capacity planning and risk assessments for requirements that may not be possible to meet technically.

- Relevant working experience within the Banking industry (preferably Corporate Bank, Investment Bank or Private Bank), specializing in project management and managing a team
- Excellent project management skills and effective communication with project stakeholders in China
- Experience managing Waterfall Projects in project management office (PMO)
- Experience in vendor management, working in partnership to deliver results
- Experience in MAS Regulatory reporting
- Familiar with software development technologies and application lifecycle management, including processes, roles and responsibilities, entry and exit criteria, and key deliverables at each stage
- Technical knowledge and experience in any of the market systems (SWIFT, RTGS, CreationOnline, Summit) preferred
- Relevant experience in treasury, private banking, trade finance and core banking systems (Summit, T24, Avaloq etc) as well as test management tools (eg ALM/ Quality Center, Jira, TFS, etc) will be an advantage.
- PMP certification a plus but not mandatory
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to influence and persuade, multi-task and meet tight deadlines
