Beware of Fake Job Scams

We would like to alert you on the increasing number of people who were approached by scammers impersonating Spring employees. These job scams typically involve unsolicited job offers, requesting for bank account number via mobile phone calls, text messages, Whatsapp and/or Telegram messages. Kindly note that We DO NOT request for bank information via mobile phone calls or text messages but only through email submission via our admin support upon confirmation of your placement.

Red Flags to take note:
  • When you receive unsolicited job offers from unknown numbers or come across job advertisements online
  • Easy job that offer lucrative commissions that are simply too good to be true
  • Unsolicited messages advertising job offers from unknown numbers or unknown foreign numbers
  • Requests to transfer funds to bank accounts belonging to individuals they had not met in person

Precautionary Steps to take:

  • Do not accept dubious job offers that offer lucrative returns for minimal effort
  • Always verify the authenticity of the job offer with the company offering the job
  • Never download applications from unverified sources
  • Never send money to anyone whom you do not know or have not met in person before

  1. NRIC Number
  2. Bank Account Number
  3. One-Time Password
  4. Verification Codes
